I was shocked to hear LeBron has already played more career minutes than Larry Bird.
LeBron only just turned 30 years old recently (end of December). Already in his 12th season. Been very healthy, played a boat load of regular season minutes and has had lots of long playoff runs over the last 8 years. It really is amazing to see just how many minutes LeBron has already logged at such a young age.
In another 2 and a 1/2 years, LeBron will likely be hovering around that 50,000 mark for combined regular season + playoff minutes. A scary threshold. It’ll be very interesting to see how his body holds up over next few seasons.Just how many more MVP caliber seasons LeBron can squeeze out before he starts to fall off.
