Earl Clark has agreed to a two-year deal with the Orlando Magic, league source tells Y! Sports.

Good signing.

Earl Clark showed himself to be an intriguing defensive player last season under Stan Van Gundy. Nice size and length combined with high level quickness and agility for a power forward. He could cover a multitude of defensive responsibilities as both a quick four and as a power three. At the very least, Clark will be a very good third string PF because of his value defensively as a team defender + in providing cover on perimeter/quick fours.

On offense, he has some basic guard-like skills with ball-handling, passing and shooting which if developed further could make him a very useful player in this league.

No word on the salary involved but it’ll be a small contract.
