2011 Top Endorsement Earners

In General NBA on June 7, 2011 at 5:48 am

Great info from Forbes.com

Player/total endorsement income/shoe sponsor

LeBron James: $34 million (Nike)

Kobe Bryant: $28 million (Nike)

Dwyane Wade: $12 million (Jordan/Nike)

Dwight Howard: $11 million (Adidas)

Yao Ming: $10 million (Reebok)

Shaquille O’Neal: $10 million (Dunkman/Li Ning)

Kevin Durant: $9 million (Nike)

Carmelo Anthony: $8 million (Jordan/Nike)

Amar’e Stoudemire: $8 million (Nike-expiring this summer)

I thought some people might be interested to see those figures. I know I was.

LeBron James earns more sponsorships than Wade (second best player in league), Dwight (third best player) and Durant (arguably top five player) combined.

Kobe Bryant is the only player who comes close to LeBron’s off-court earnings via endorsements.
