He goes further and breaks down the Celtics units with the Big Four + one role player

Efficiency on floor with Rondo, Allen, Pierce & Garnett

Shaquille O’Neal 18 266 95.3 115.1 96.1 +19.1
Glen Davis 54 504 93.0 111.4 94.4 +17.0
Kendrick Perkins 12 170 92.4 110.4 97.8 +12.6

Jeff Green 13 46 89.6 111.8 102.3 +9.5
Jermaine O’Neal 8 115 91.1 101.6 95.4 +6.2

A nice statistical summary of the value of Shaquille O’Neal to the Celtics this season. He is a very important role player for them, especially since Perkins left, and, his return will make a large difference to the  Celtics postseason chances.

Do not get caught up in the Celtics recent struggles since making their mid-season trade. They are still a frighteningly good basketball team when they have a healthy roster.
