Chris Forsberg reports
Nate Robinson is back in Beantown.
Robinson, an unrestricted free agent, has agreed to return to the Celtics, a source confirmed to ESPNBoston.com.
The Boston Herald, citing a league source, first reported that the deal is for two years and will pay around $4 million per season.
I read elsewhere that there are incentives which could push the deal to $4.5 million per season for two years.
Anyway, it’s a decent signing for Boston. I didn’t like the Celtics giving Nate Robinson a second season. That would have been a deal breaker for me. But having a reliable alternative while Avery Bradley learns the ropes is a positive thing and Nate does bring some quality to that second unit for Boston.
